The Beauty of Rehearsal

Coming together with Maggie Lockhart to rehearse Joan Nicholas-Walker’s piece “Who, Two” is wonderful.  Securing time to dance with one another is precious. The fact that she motivates me to rehearse a commissioned work by our own company is extraordinary.  I feel empowered by this artist to create, commission and present work together. To arrive in this place of prosperity rehearsing during the day and commissioning other professional choreographers to set work on us is a dream come true. To more rehearsals with this beautiful individual whom I am lucky to call my dance partner and co-pilot of SylviDances.
